The Clam Cannery - Terms and Conditions RESERVATION POLICY 1 night minimum reservation is required. Certain holidays and promotional offers may require a three night minimum stay. Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of signed rental agreement, photocopy of valid Driver's License (or proper identification) and 50 percent down payment. We do not accept credit cards. Renter must be at least 21 years of age to reserve and check-in. RESERVATION CHANGES/CANCELLATION POLICY If there is any need to change a reservation after the initial reservation has been made, please contact us at 206-718-5401. Any cancellation 60 days or more before arrival will result in a full refund. Cancellation 59 days or less from your arrival date will result in forfeiture of 50% of the deposit. Cancellations within 30 days of your arrival or No Shows will forfeit full amount of rental fees. Please call or email to cancel a reservation. Cancellations are not valid until confirmation is received from the Clam Cannery. Each suite has a specific maximum occupancy (includes adults and children). Take note of the maximum number of guests allowed in the rooms before making your reservation. This policy is strictly enforced. Bringing more guests than that of the reservation may result in immediate departure with no refund. Refunds for early departures are not given under any circumstance. PAYMENT To complete your reservation your down payment must be received in our office with 7 days of the date we confirm . The remaining balance is due 15 days prior to arrival. If your reservation has been made less than 30 days before arrival, your deposit is 100 percent of the reservation amount. If you wish to set up another form of payment, please contact us immediately. Be sure you have printed out the written directions provided to the Clam Cannery before you depart. ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN Check in is at 5:00 p.m. Check out: 11:00 a.m. (late checkout can be requested based on availability) DAMAGE DEPOSIT Guest stays of 3 days or more are required to pay a $250 refundable Damage Deposit in the form of a personal check or money order upon checkin. Assuming there is no damage to the suite during your stay, the Damage Deposit will be returned within 48 hours of your check out. All accidental damages must be reported to the Clam Cannery before your check out. Damage discovered after your check out will result in forfeiture of the entire Damage Deposit. Repair costs for damage in excess of $250 or damage that is deemed intentional, willful or a result of neglect, or unreported accidental damage, intentional damage, theft, excessive cleaning resulting in damage, or any other damage will be prosecuted. NOTE: ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE MUST BE REPORTED TO THE CLAM CANNERY NO LATER THAN DEPARTURE CHECK OUT TIME. IF DAMAGE IS NOT REPORTED AND FOUND AFTER DEPARTURE BY HOUSEKEEPING, THE DAMAGE WAIVER WILL BE FORFEITED AND GUEST WILL BE CHARGED FOR REPAIR/REPLACEMENT COST. In the unlikely event of maintenance or cleaning issue please contact us at 206-718-5401. Please note that if you need to make local calls or contact the Clam Cannery, it may require use of your cellular phone. We will not consider compensation for any problems that are brought to our attention for the first time after the completion of your visit. We must be given a chance to rectify any problems. In the event of an emergency, call 911. CONDITIONS Not adhering to the terms and conditions below may result in a partial or total forfeiture of your security deposit, and in extreme cases may lead to dismissal from the property without a refund. PETS Pets are warmly welcomed at the Clam Cannery however they are not allowed on the furniture. If you'd like a bed for your pet we can provide one for you. Kitchenware has been provided for your convenience. You are responsible for cleaning up your own dishes prior to departure. Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the Clam Cannery. If you choose to smoke outside the building, please help us to protect our pristine environment by not discarding your cigarette butts into Port Townsend Bay or the surrounding shoreline. Indoor smoking will result in forfeiture of your entire security deposit. No parties are allowed. Please respect your neighbors and keep the noise level down between the hours of 10pm and 8am. You are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the premises during your occupancy and to leave the premises reasonably neat and in good condition upon departure. Failure to keep the rooms neat may result in additional cleaning fees or the forfeiture of your damage deposit. Any items that are damaged during your stay due to negligence or carelessness will be billed for the cost of the product replacement and/or for the labor to repair and this amount will be taken out of your damage deposit. We cannot be held responsible for weather related problems. Although unlikely, we will do our best to resolve any maintenance problems. If the problem cannot be resolved in a reasonable amount of time, we will work with you to find another room or issue partial refund. No refunds for nights stayed will be given. The rental agent may enter the premises at any time in the event of emergency, but will use its best efforts to give advance notice. ITEMS LEFT BEHIND If you leave any items in your room, we will be pleased to return them if you provide a USPS self-addressed stamped envelope. The Clam Cannery is not responsible for lost or stolen items. The Renter acknowledges that the Clam Cannery acting solely in the capacity of Agent for the property owner, assumes no liability there under.
